Soldering!

Soldering is a technique that makes a circuit more permanent by melting a filler metal into a joint and joining the items.

My schematic shows a simple circuit that is completed by connecting a 9V battery to a 220 ohm resistor and LED.

This circuit image shows a 220 ohm resistor and LED soldered together on a circuit board, which is then connected to a 9V bolt battery using alligator switches.
